Each news segment within a collection serves as a standalone short documentary on a specific news topics such as: History, Business & economics, Health Sciences Law, International Affairs Psychology, Society & Culture, Performing Arts, Women's Studies, African American Studies and Politics.
Music Online
This ever-expanding collection includes the complete content of Alexander Street’s collections in classical music, jazz, American song, and world music as well as over 150,000 tracks of “popular” music from all the genres that don’t fit into our individual collections. There are five collections: Classical Music, Smithsonian Global Sound, Contemporary World Music American Song and Jazz.
This is a subscription-based service with 24/7 access to unlimited users whether in the library or not, so your patrons always have access to the content. A library’s authentication options are via IP, referrer URL, username/password, library card or Shibboleth.
