Califa is holding a 2009 Digitization Symposium on Friday, January 9 at San Francisco Public Library to update the Northern and Southern California workshops held in 2007. Several Califa members and former digital workshop attendees have asked us to sponsor another symposium that would highlight some of the library digitization activities and developments during the past two years. We are interested in hearing participant’s priorities, so have created a survey to determine which topics are most relevant to you.
The symposium is being sponsored by Califa Library Group, the California Digital Library, the Community College Library Consortium (CCLC), the Statewide Electronic Information Resources (SEIR: Calif. State Universities) and the Southern California Electronic Library Consortium (SCELC). Members of these consortia are also eligible for the member-discount.
Co-sponsors: Califa Library Group, California Digital Library, the Community College Library Consortium (CCLC), the Statewide Electronic Information Resources (SEIR) and the Statewide California Electronic Library Consortium (SCELC). Members of these consortia are also eligible for the member-discount. Breakfast and lunch are included.
